Is Bounce Back evidence based?
Yes, a study published in 2015 in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychologydemonstrated that students who participate in Bounce Back have significantly fewer symptoms of PTSD (child and parent report), anxiety, and psychosocial dysfunction.
Bounce Back is an elementary school adaptation of CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools) for middle and high schoolers. CBITS has an extensive evidence base.
